Astro **** Sells 1.5 Million Units 2 Months After Launch

Sony has announced that the PlayStation-exclusive Astro **** has sold 1.5 million units in its first two months.

, which revealed that Astro **** sold 1.5 million units as of November 3, putting the number just shy of two months from its September 6, 2024 release date.

Astro **** received universal acclaim on review aggregator Metacritic, with the game receiving a 94 out of 100 according to 138 reviews. Users also felt the same way, giving the game a 9.3 out of 10. Its universal acclaim has put the game at the forefront of being a likely winner for this years Game of The Year at The Game Awards, which takes place in December 2024.

Whether 1.5 million units sold is where Team Asobi and PlayStation hoped the game would be, ******** to be seen, as either has yet to comment.

Nonetheless, Team Asobi has continued to support the game post-launch, offering weekly speedrun levels and new bots to collect.

Astro **** released on September 6, 2024 exclusively on the PlayStation 5.
