*********’s Creed is now a couple months away following a delay that pushed it out of this year. This decision, though, could greatly benefit it in the long run if that added time was used to better the game, which series boss Marc-Alexis Coté hopes to change the narrative around Ubisoft.

, Coté expressed how players are rightfully expecting more out of their game experience and how Ubisoft’s library has been under criticism for a “perceived inconsistency in quality.” He’s now expressing that Shadows will be the way to “change that narrative” for not just the singular IP, but the company as a whole.

“Ubisoft’s portfolio has faced criticism in recent years for a perceived inconsistency in quality. Players expect more polish, more innovation, and deeper engagement from the games we release, and they’re not shy about letting us know when they feel we have fallen short. This environment pushes us to do better and to be better.

*********’s Creed Shadows represents our opportunity to change that narrative, not just for *********’s Creed, but I think for Ubisoft as a whole.”

*********’s Creed Shadows has a lot going for it, for as controversial as it is among ********* gamers and westerners alike, its pre-orders have been “very strong” and the duo set of characters could be a welcome reintroduction, if done right, which considering you can supposedly play the vast majority of the game as one or the other is a good sign.
