Call of Duty Players Spot Time-Travelling Vehicle in ****** Ops 6 Campaign

The campaign in Call of Duty: ****** Ops 6 hasn’t disappointed at all, however, fans have found a mistake in a certain mission that proves that Activision is too lazy. Players have discovered that the studio has used a vehicle model that is too modern a game that is set during the 1991 Gulf War.

This is not the first time this van has been used in the franchise as it first appeared in 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The vehicle choices and designs in ****** Ops 6‘s campaign are mostly spot on, however, this specific part was messed up as it looked out of place.

Fans Complained About A Modern-Looking Van In Call of Duty: ****** Ops 6

A van model, loosely based on the 2018 Ford Transit Custom and the 2014 Fiat Ducato eXV, was spotted in the campaign of Call of Duty: ****** Ops 6. Players pointed out that it looks too modern for the game as it is set in 1991. With its 2010s-like design and Xenon ***********, the vehicle certainly looks odd.

Clearly, this was done to save time and money but it is the small details that make a game exciting. In this case, it isn’t even a very minute detail, it is a massive vehicle, so reusing the same model wasn’t exactly the best move if Activision was aiming to give players an authentic experience.

The Van Model Has Been Reused From Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

Keen-eyed fans of the franchise must have noticed that this van first appeared in 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. An ambulance version of this unplayable vehicle also appeared in the game. This van model certainly fits the campaign of Modern Warfare but not ****** Ops 6‘s campaign. The same model has been used in other Call of Duty games as well after Modern Warfare.

****** Ops 6 has been criticized for the new movement mechanics and multiplayer maps, but everyone will agree that the studios did a great job at delivering an exceptional campaign experience. There are some crazy memorable missions in the game like Emergence. This mission was so terrifying that players have even compared it to other modern horror games. It’s safe to say that Activision didn’t let players down in terms of storyline.
