Next Patch Update Must Quietly Introduce an Infamous ****** Faction That’s Even More Relentless Than Tyranids

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 has been one of the highlight titles of 2024. Not only are its visuals and story impressive, but it’s also fighting a close battle against another standout title of the year. Helldivers 2. And the Warhammer 40K title has the chance to pull ahead.

Arrowhead has been slow to bring large-scale content to Helldivers 2. Promises like the addition of the Illuminate are still uncertain even after waiting this long. Saber Interactive can use this to quietly add a certain faction to Space Marine 2 and surprise players.

Space Marine 2 Can Win The Race vs Helldivers 2 With This Move

Adding the Orks as a surprise faction could be the perfect twist for Space Marine 2. Known for their wild, aggressive tactics and iconic WAAAGH! Orks bring an element of chaos that would be even more pressuring than the already terrifying Tyranids.

In the Warhammer 40K lore, Orks are a massive, green-skinned race of warriors, known for their relentless numbers and chaotic fighting style. Ork Boyz overwhelm their foes with sheer quantity and an undying thirst for battle.

With players expecting only Tyranids, introducing Orks without warning could set Space Marine 2 apart. A

user explored this idea with the premise that players would be in an eerie silence, only to be suddenly ambushed by Ork Boyz.

Players have noted that Helldivers 2 already this the same thing before, but it works and that’s the point. This approach turns encounters into genuine surprises, with players often second-guessing if they’re the first to see new foes. Space Marine 2 could do a similar thing and surprise the players.

In terms of gameplay, Orks would provide a refreshing change for Space Marine 2’s co-op and PvE modes. Their “mob” mentality allows them to overpower players through sheer force, and since they’re ******* than the average tyranid, it would be pure chaos.

Saber Has Already Said It Plans To Explore Factions

Saber has already hinted that new factions are coming. The Necrons specifically have been hinted at in Space Marine 2 and fans have already started the speculation train. While the Necrons would be better as big-time villains, the Orks would fit the gameplay much better.

deep-analyzed hieroglyphs for hints of Necron in Space Marine 2, while those are located in a friggin tomb world plastered with their symbol.

With the recent addition of cooperative operations, Space Marine 2 has expanded the Warhammer universe in ways that allow players to explore strategies and combat styles. Adding Orks to the fray would require new strategies and adaptations.

If Saber is to compete with Arrowhead, it must capitalize on the Warhammer 40K universe’s rich lore while keeping players on their toes. Saber could keep this potential update under wraps until the actual release day to keep the surprise factor max.

Considering the strong response to the game’s launch now is the ideal time for Saber to surprise fans and do even more. Whether it’s a small faction update or a large-scale WAAAGH, this surprise would truly shake up the battle vs Arrowhead.
