, Blizzard updated its content delivery network (CDN) to mention a 'Warcraft II: Remastered Internal Alpha.' Blizzard has yet to announce the game, and IGN has asked for comment.

The CDN update also includes background images and logos for Warcraft 2: Remastered, which lean on the original's naval theme.

Blizzard has said this stream will include "something for everyone," from old-school fans of the real-time strategy games to World of Warcraft players. Warcraft Rumble and Hearthstone will also feature in the stream, which comes in lieu of the canceled BlizzCon 2024.

A Warcraft 2 remaster would certainly fit the bill here. The RTS classic launched on PC in 1995 as a sequel to the groundbreaking Warcraft: Orcs & Humans and met with positive reviews and big sales. Indeed, Blizzard has form in remastering its previous games.
