The injury-depleted Jazz won 135-126 on the road with veteran *********** guard Mills chiming in with six points and five assists. Keyonte George had a game-high 33 points for Utah on Monday (Tuesday AEDT) and was well supported by John Collins (28) and Collin Sexton (24). Boomers star Giddey continued his solid start to his first season in Chicago with 15 points and seven assists. He was one of six Bulls players in double figures. Chicago’s Coby White came on in the second half to score 28 points, tying the contest twice late in the third quarter. But the Bulls, playing without injured leading scorer Zach LaVine, were unable to take the lead after falling behind by 15 points. The Jazz had lost their opening six games of the season. With Ben Simmons sidelined due to the Brooklyn coaching staff electing not to use him in the second of back-to-back games for the foreseeable future, the Nets edged past the Memphis Grizzlies 106-104. Dennis Schroder and Cam Johnson had 20 points apiece for the Nets. A day after grabbing the headlines in an emotional win over his former team New Orleans, *********** Dyson Daniels was on the losing side for Atlanta in a 123-93 belting from defending champions Boston. Daniels tallied eight points and three assists but the Hawks were no match for the powerhouse Celtics. Jayson Tatum scored 26 of his 28 points in the first half, to go with nine assists and six rebounds, before sitting out the final quarter with the game already in the bag for the Celtics. Darius Garland scored 39 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers improved to 8-0 with a 116-114 win over the Milwaukee Bucks, who played without injured superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Cavs also went 8-0 to start the 1976 campaign. Garland drained a go-ahead 3-pointer with 45 seconds left and the Cavs rallied down the stretch, outscoring the Bucks 18-8 over the final 6:06. Damian Lillard scored 36 points for the Bucks, but committed a costly turnover when he was called for an over-and-back violation with 56 seconds left. The Minnesota Timberwolves downed Charlotte 114-93 with Aussie Josh Green chipping in with eight points for the Hornets. with AP This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up #Patty #Mills #helps #Jazz #snap #winless #start #NBA #season This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up Link to comment https://hopzone.eu/forums/topic/161204-patty-mills-helps-jazz-snap-winless-start-to-nba-season/ Share on other sites
