One of the most solid and enjoyable systems in Dragon Age: The Veilguard is the companion system. Throughout the entire game, you’ll be able to recruit various companions to join your cause. Some of these companions will be truly powerful, while others will accompany you from the start, participating in every battle. Each companion has a specific class and theory-based skills that can help in any tough situation. Some companions have the ability to unlock new paths or provide significant combat buffs. This guide explains how to recruit Lace Harding in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Who is Lace Harding? Lace Harding is one of the default companions that you will have in Dragon Age The Veilguard. As one of the most active members of the now-dissolved Inquisition, Lace Harding is a fierce warrior who always fights for her convictions. She belongs to the dwarves race, and her standout class is Rogue. This character has appeared in other games in the franchise, making her a fan favorite. She was a big part of the story in Inquisition. One of Lace Harding’s most notable traits is her tendency to joke around or ***** into investigating what’s happening. She loves talking about dwarves’ stories and is quite proud of her heritage. Tip Lace is one of the most important characters of the game. Harding excels in ranged combat and fiercely guards all aspects of her family and race. Another beneficial feature of this character is its ability to buff almost any offensive skill. How to Recruit Lace Harding She will join after the prologue. This particular character joins by default as part of the storyline. In other words, she will automatically join your party and is, in fact, the first character to do so. This happens right after you complete the prologue in the mission called “The End of the Beginning.” In Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Lace Harding officially joins your group from that mission onward. Another notable aspect of this character is that she is one of Varric’s closest allies. Increasing the bond with this character will help you open new paths to access later in the game. Faction: None, former Inquisition. Region/Location: None will join automatically. Class: Rogue. Race: Dwarf. Exploration Perk: The Eteneral Hymn. Quest: Prologue. Decisions That’ll Stop Recruitment: None is part of the story. Benefits of Recruiting Lace Harding This character will be able to open new paths in the map. Although Lace Harding is one of the basic characters available in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, she offers many advantages in combat. For example, as a ranged combat character, she’s ideal for providing covering *****. She can help aim at an unreachable ****** while also buffing the entire team. One of her greatest utilities is that, after the mission “An Unfamiliar Sense,” Harding unlocks the ability to literally move rocks. This opens up new exploration options and paths on the map. Among her many skills, one of the most worthwhile is Shred, which tears down the ******’s defense and applies stagger. Tip She can help with amazing combat buffs for the party. As a support-type character, she has numerous abilities to buff the party, offering critical hit chances, improved accuracy, and other enhancements. Harding excels at helping in combat by providing characters with additional damage bonuses or other advantages. She can even serve as a healer, making her a crucial asset to your group and improving the effectiveness of every battle. Who is your favorite character in Dragon Age: The Veilguard?
