****** Ops 6 features a tighter map design in multiplayer that helps to emphasize the new Omni-movement system of this year’s Call of Duty game, and with smaller arenas, the Recon-three perk provides a significant advantage to players who take advantage of it.

On social media platforms, numerous players were complaining about just how challenging it was to build up any momentum with seemingly clairvoyant opponents running around maps–fan-favorite map Nuketown has been seen as a prime example of this–making for a frustrating experience overall. However, players who discovered that flashbanging teammates to earn easy XP might also be compounding these issues.

Out now on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, Call of Duty: ****** Ops 6 has had an especially good launch through Xbox Game Pass.
