Then you have the overbearing FF XIV players who only started playing there. Which the the **** hard FF XI look at them and roll their eyes. This series was always made to take risks from the beginning and that’s why I find ways to love every single one in it’s own way. Now regarding the games reaching a ******* audience. I think the supposed fanbase has ******* it a long time ago. The people that say they want to have them on their platform of choice, don’t really want it for the sake of supporting it. It’s where it’s at cause cause who got the series past it’s sprite phase. You’re not going to like every single one especially when you think you’re the one who should’ve had say in it’s design. There can be criticisms of what you felt was missing and that’s great. But until you just realize that we are way past the Sakaguchi era then you won’t be humble about the next one. SE knows their audience and they should continue to stick with that, cause their multiplat strategy is not working. At least at the moment.
