Now players have more flexibility in movement than ever. Whether you’re sprinting backward or sliding to the side, Omnimovement lets players move in any direction, creating far more opportunities to stay agile during intense battles as compared to previous games. While mastering this movement style may seem complicated, you can still enjoy ****** Ops 6 without using every one of these new features. But still, if you’re aiming to really get the hang of it and enhance your gameplay, here are five top tips to get you started. Master the Art of Sprinting Sprinting left to right to hinder enemies is a great strategy in ****** Ops 6. Sprinting is obviously the most important aspect of Omnimovement, as that’s what players will be doing most of the time. The new system in ****** Ops 6 lets you sprint in any direction, even backward, without slowing down. This gives you the freedom to dodge attacks and be able to look out throughout the map better. While sprinting does delay your *******’s ******* a bit, there are attachments you can use to reduce this delay. So, it’s wise to keep sprinting whenever you’re in direct gunfights. Tactical Sprint, another useful tool in ****** Ops 6 that was first introduced in 2019’s Modern Warfare reboot, lets you sprint even faster than the normal sprint for a short *******. It works great if you need to cover ground fast or pull off a quick getaway. However, it’s not ideal in close combat since it increases the delay before you can ***** your ******* again, and this can easily get you ******* since those few milliseconds can make a big difference. Using the Double Time perk will extend your Tactical Sprint, which gives you a bit more flexibility when running across open areas in Warzone or Zombies. Perks like Double Time, Dexterity, and Gung-*** can make movement even smoother by extending Tactical Sprint time, steadying your aim, and enabling reloads while on the move. Dolphin Diving in Various Directions Is Important Being in a reverse-prone position gives you a nice visibility edge over opponents. Dolphin Diving has gotten a solid upgrade in ****** Ops 6. Now, you can ***** forward, backward, or sideways while aiming and *********, which is something that wasn’t there in previous titles. This maneuver is incredibly useful if you’re trying to surprise an ****** or break into a room quickly. For example, diving off a high ledge and landing into cover is a clever way to get an advantage, especially when enemies are closing in. Additionally, you can still use Omnimovement when you’re prone, so diving is not as much of a negative as before. The ***** is particularly effective in the Zombies mode, where dodging and avoiding ****** swarms can mean the difference between surviving and losing the game. Diving isn’t just about evading gunfire. It’s perfect for escaping explosions, grenades, and other area attacks by quickly moving out of the blast radius. Combined with certain loadouts that reduce your ADS speed, this is a winning strategy. Slide to Outmaneuver Enemies in Close Combat Sliding and ********* is another strategy that works quite well. Sliding is a game-changer in ****** Ops 6, especially with the new movement freedom. Whether you’re sliding forward, sideways, or diagonally, sliding can throw off your opponent’s aim and give you a slight speed boost. Slide canceling has been a popular move in the community in recent Call of Duty games, but now, even normal sliding is far more effective and useful than before. Attachments can help reduce the time it takes to ****** after sliding, which can be pretty beneficial in close encounters. You can create certain loadouts where the time to ADS after sliding becomes drastically lower. One common strategy for sliding is to hold down the crouch button after sliding to smoothly transition into a prone position, which adds even more unpredictability to your movements and can throw off your opponents can give you a bit of an edge in a gunfight. With the Gung-*** perk, you can reload while sprinting, sliding, or even diving, and this lets you stay mobile without needing to stop to reload. This tweak lets you stay focused on your movements without needing to press extra buttons or go through extra movements, especially during intense firefights. Streamlining this process lets you focus on the gunfight better. Auto-mantling can also be set up for airborne objects in the settings, making it easier to scale obstacles without needing a perfect lineup. While in intense shootouts, these settings can give you the edge by helping you stay on the move without getting caught up on every low wall or barrier that you come across while running around. For players in Warzone, the auto-mantling feature is especially helpful in getting around buildings or finding cover fast due to the higher intensity of the game mode. Set Up Omnimovement Controls to Fit Your Style Movement settings has a nice suite of customization options. For a more customized experience with Omnimovement, ****** Ops 6 offers plenty of control settings to make movement as comfortable and as customizable as possible. Sprint Assist, for example, lets you start sprinting automatically after a short movement delay. By enabling this, you don’t need to hold down the sprint button the whole time, which can reduce hand strain over long sessions and let you focus on other stuff. Another great setting to explore is the Slide/***** Behavior. By default, sliding and diving are mapped to the same button, but this can be adjusted to fit your preferences. For example, with the “Hybrid” option, a quick tap of the button will trigger a slide, while holding it will make you *****.
