Call of Duty: ****** Ops 6

Call of Duty games often come with unique features, and every time these features improve the gameplay experience to a great extent. ****** Ops 6 has brought multiple new features, and one among them is Augments.

Augments denote the research path that allows players to improve their in-game performance. Therefore, if you are looking for a way to know how to research augments fast in the game, that’s not at all surprising. 

Activision is always highly careful with the Zombies mode whenever it attaches it to any installment. Sometimes, this mode brings the most interesting in-game features, and in ****** Ops 6, the augments are also exclusive to the Zombies mode. The game lets you research augments through different activities. 

What Are Augments in ****** Ops 6?

Augments are one of the most interesting additions in ****** Ops 6.

Before we discuss ways to research augments, players must understand what augments are. Augments are newly introduced features that allow ****** Ops 6 players to customize Perk-a-Colas, Ammo Mods, and Field Upgrades. Basically, augments improve the efficiency of equipment in the Zombies mode. 

Each piece of equipment has different sets of augments. For example, Perk-a-Colas have a different set of augments that can’t be equipped for Field upgrades. Perk-a-Colas are available by default. So, players can easily start augmenting these whenever they want.

Note that players can’t research augments before they reach level 11. 

Additionally, Augments have three minor and three major options, and after researching, players can equip one of each type to their respective equipment. Here players should keep in mind that they can’t equip more than one Field Upgrade and Ammo Mod in every game. So, the point is that you should be more careful while choosing augments for Ammo Mod and Field Upgrade. 

How to Research Augments Fast in ****** Ops 6

Players need to reach a specific level before they start researching augment.

The Augment Research will be found in the main menu of the Zombies mode. From there, players will find the augments they have unlocked, along with the research augment option. Now, the thing is, the research process requires players to unlock new augments, and this unlocking needs them to level up by grinding XP.

So, below we will list the process to research augments faster in ****** Ops 6. 

***** as Many Zombies as Possible

Focus on ******** zombies to gather XP faster in the Zombies mode.

When you are in the Zombies mode, ******** zombies should be the main objective. As soon as you land, the zombie hordes will ******* and keep clearing them to gather XP. While ******** regular zombies is decent, you can try defeating special zombies like Manglers to get more XP.

This is the easiest way to gather XP, level up faster, and unlock more augments to give the research process a boost.

Activate Rampage Inducer

Rampage Inducer will increase the spawn rate of the undead in the Zombies mode.

This is another way to get XP faster in the Zombies mode. The latest Call of Duty Zombies mode has introduced Rampage Inducer, which players can activate as soon as they load into the map. Once it is activated, the difficulty will increase and more zombie hordes will spawn. Therefore, the chance of getting more XP will be higher. 

So, to begin the process, begin the game from Liberty Falls or Terminus and activate the Rampage Inducer faster. However, it would be better to bring three more teammates when activating this machine, as it will be tough to tackle the zombie hordes otherwise. 

Earn and Use Double XP Tokens

XP tokens are familiar to Call of Duty players as they help players get more XP by doing activities.

The next process to give your XP earning a boost is gathering Double XP tokens. Call of Duty players are well aware of how these tokens work. These tokens double the XP amount of the in-game activities for a certain time. 

You can earn these tokens through the Battle Pass, Events, or by purchasing Store Bundles. These tokens can be normally used in the game, but as soon as you use them, you will start getting more XP from every activity. 

Complete Missions

Keep completing missions and you will never be short on XP.

This is another convenient way to earn XP in the Zombies mode. Basically, completing missions is the best possible way to gather XP in general as well. So, if you want to get loads of XP, don’t skip missions. 

While you can jump into these missions alone, you can bring your friends to complete these missions and earn XP. Additionally, completing a few Zombies missions will unlock Calling Cards which are once again a great thing to get tons of XP.

The more you level up and get XP, the more your augment research process will get a boost. So, keep doing these while playing ****** Ops 6 Zombies, and you will eventually be able to research augments.
