Call of Duty: ****** Ops 6 Zombies mode has introduced SAM Trials, a fun and thrilling set of mini-challenges that can make a big difference in your game because of their rewards.

These trials can pop up at different locations around the map, and if you can complete them in time, they offer great rewards that will boost your firepower, resources, and equipment. If you come across one, you’ll definitely want to give them a shot.

This guide covers some of the SAM Trials locations in ****** Ops 6. These locations can change with updates, so the list below might not cover everything or could shift around.

Later on, we’ll go over how to complete them effectively and the rewards you’ll earn along the way. Just remember to watch for that purple cloud beam starting around Round 6 in ****** Ops 6 Zombies.

SAM Trials Locations in Liberty Falls ****** Ops 6 Zombies

These spots are pretty easy to get to. The following are six possible areas that SAM Trials can spawn at in Liberty Falls.

Liberty Falls SAM Trials Location #1

The first possible location is right near the starting point of the map.

This one’s below the spawn area, near the gas station. Look for the blue square marker on each image to see the general location.

Liberty Falls SAM Trials Location #2

This possible location is out in the open.

Near the bank entrance stairs and close to the GobbleGum Machine.

Liberty Falls SAM Trials Location #3

Like the other locations, it’s hard to miss a SAM Trial that spawns here.

Between the GobbleGum Machine and the bank’s door. It’s a convenient spot.

Liberty Falls SAM Trials Location #4

Olly’s Comic Book Store has several things to do, including activating a possible SAM Trial here.

This one’s inside the Comic Book Store. Keep an eye out for close-quarters zombie attacks.

While you’re here, you can also grab one of the codes for the Liberty Falls Vault if you haven’t done that yet.

Liberty Falls SAM Trials Location #5

You won’t find salvation here, but you might find a SAM Trial.

At the stairs in front of the *******. This open area allows for easier evasion.

Liberty Falls SAM Trials Location #6

If the SAM Trial isn’t outside, it might be here.

Conveniently located inside the *******. A lucky spot to get a SAM Trial at since you’ll have cover while activating it!

SAM Trials Locations in Terminus ****** Ops 6 Zombies

The SAM Trials on Terminus are a little difficult to get to because of the map’s layout. Similar to Liberty Falls, here are another six possible locations where you might find a SAM Trial.

If you see a purple cloud in these general areas, it could be one of the ones we’ve listed below.

Terminus SAM Trials Location #1

You’ll be activating SAM Trials in some dangerous spots across Terminus.

Inside the Sea Tower. It’s easy to access, but watch out for the narrow entryways.

Terminus SAM Trials Location #2

If it spawns here, it should be right in the corner of this area.

Below the Sea Tower, near the ascender. Stay mobile here to avoid getting cornered.

Terminus SAM Trials Location #3

This SAM Trial spawns in a relatively open area.

If there’s a SAM Trial in this area, it could be at the Recreation Yard near the second generator.

Terminus SAM Trials Location #4

The fourth location to check is not too far from the previous one.

Around the same generator, the SAM Trial could’ve spawned in the Living Quarters.

Terminus SAM Trials Location #5

This spot will be a bit dangerous to do a SAM Trial in.,

Another possible location is the Laboratory near the XM4 wall-buy.

Terminus SAM Trials Location #6

The SAM Trial might be in this cramped, narrow hallway, unfortunately.

Lastly, there’s the Laboratory next to the lift. You can access it quickly, but it can be cramped in the lab corridors, so proceed with caution.

How to Complete SAM Trials? Rewards and More

You can score some great rewards from SAM Trials if you’re able to finish them.

Completing SAM Trials is essentially a race against time. Each challenge has a different objective, like using eliminating specific types of zombies or using a particular mechanic to ***** enemies.

You must activate the trial machine with Essence. It costs 500 Essence the first time, and it’ll go up as you clear more rounds of Zombies.

When you start the trial, purple-eyed zombies will spawn specifically for the challenge at hand, and you can check the objective on the left side of the screen.

Successfully finishing a trial will earn you rewards from a marked chest, which can include weapons, Essence, Salvage, Aether Tools, and other useful items. The rewards improve with how far you get into the trial, so while SAM Trials are optional, they’re definitely worth taking on.

If you fail to complete a trial, the extra zombies disappear, and you’ll have to wait a few rounds for the next SAM Trial to appear.

Tip

Don’t worry about running out of zombies for a SAM Trial, as it’ll spawn extra for you to deal with.

Even the basic SAM Trial rewards that you get from getting a quarter of the way through are worth an attempt, so we recommend you try it out when you come across one.
