Elden Ring is the latest and greatest offering from Hidetaka Miyazaki, the king of the Soulsborne genre. Set in The Lands Between (and later The Lands of Shadow in the expansions Shadow of the Erdtree), you play as a ‘Tarnished’, a being who lost the grace of the Erdtree, subsequently being banned from The Lands Between.
