Bayswater council looks to ‘discourage’ developers from removing large trees after heated debate

Developers in the eastern suburbs could soon be “discouraged” from removing large trees as the City of Bayswater looks at tightening tree protection rules for developers.

Bayswater council narrowly voted 6-5 to put out a draft private land and street verge policy for community consultation after heated debate on October 22.
