Boeing plans to launch effort to raise over $US15b

Boeing is set to launch a plan to raise more than $US15 billion capital, a source briefed on the matter has told Reuters.

Reuters first reported on October 16 that the planemaker was closing in on a plan to raise around $US15 billion ($A23 billion) with common shares and a mandatory convertible bond as it sought to bolster finances worsened by a crippling ongoing strike.
