Riverton ******: Food delivery driver slams car into home on High Road, escapes without injury

A food delivery driver has escaped without injury after slamming a car into a home in Riverton overnight.

Police say the man damaged the front wall of a home on High Road after his car hit the front of the property around 12.30am.

It is unconfirmed if the driver was delivering food at the time.

Officers at the scene were observed removing items from inside the car after the ******.

“Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the ****** remain ongoing by local police,” a police spokeswoman said.

Firefighters and State Emergency Service personnel also attended the scene.
