When Does Rebirth Island Come Back to Warzone?

We all have that one map from our favorite competitive first-person shooter that stands the test of time. For some, it’s Shipment. Others, Office. But if you’re a long-time fan of Warzone, then you likely remember the chaotic gameplay of Rebirth Island. So, when does Rebirth Island come back to Warzone?

Rebirth Island is perhaps one of the most thrilling maps in Warzone, and it was clearly inspired by Alcatraz Island. It’s a small prison island with several barracks and facility structures dotting the exterior and a central building with multiple floors. Overall, the entire place is close-quarters heaven for those who prefer in-your-face firefights.

It’s frantic, chaotic, and downright thrilling. But the downside is that the match is over relatively quickly.

There is no official confirmation when Rebirth Island will return to Warzone. However, data miners discovered “s3_rebirth” in the game’s files shortly after the launch of Season 2 Reloaded.

Last year, during COD: NEXT, Activision revealed the iconic map would return to Warzone in “early 2024,” though they never specified further. It appears it’s coming soon, perhaps with the release of Warzone Season 3. It would make sense, considering the rumored size of the game update launching alongside the new Season!
