Kate Chaney says ‘pendulum swung too far’ in giving State power to approve high-rises

Teal independent Kate Chaney is supportive of high-rise developments in her western suburbs electorate — just not in her backyard.

The Curtin MP said she did not support “plonking skyscrapers into the suburbs” when pressed on her views on a contentious development planned at the same shopping precinct as her electorate office.
