Development approval for BP’s $1bn-plus plans at the former Kwinana oil refinery

A $1 billion-plus new energy project on the site of BP’s old Kwinana oil refinery has secured development approval.

The energy supermajor is planning green hydrogen and sustainable aviation fuel plants in the State’s premier industrial zone, with the hub’s first stage to employ up to 150 people.
