Treasury yields are on the ascent, and they could have further to go. The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield topped 4.25% on Wednesday. That is a nice, round number representing a resistance level that, if broken through, could clear the way for further upside, according to Mark Malek, investment chief at Siebert. In fact, the benchmark yield could continue to climb to as high as 4.5%, he said.
