How to Beat Fell Twins

This is a quick guide on how to beat Fell Twins. This dynamic duo is an optional battle; however, the game developers designed their arena to be unique and more challenging than other bosses. Fortunately, the twins are not the hardest optional bosses in the game and can be easily defeated.

The Tarnished will encounter different threats of all manners in their journey, and the Fell Twins are two of many minor obstacles. This quick guide will teach players the best method to defeat these enemies and help them reach their full potential of becoming the next Elden Lord.

Where Can You Find the Fell Twins?

The Fell Twins are a unique pair of optional bosses in Elden Ring.

The Fell Twins will wait for the Tarnished to reach the Divine Tower of East Altus. The journey to reach these optional bosses is quite a trek for Elden Ring players, and they should have enough items or equipment to boost their stamina to avoid getting caught in a ****** by some random ****** guarding the path.

Players can start at the Site of Grace on the Avenue Balcony to head up the stairs and make a hard left. The Tarnished will come upon a huge set of double doors, and a bunch of enemies will be waiting on the other side. Players can ignore these enemies and continue going up the stairwell. Once they are at the top, they will see two statues on the opposite side of a door that leads to a lift.

Pull the lever and reach the upper levels to the Capital Outskirts, and you will see a massive chamber ahead. After reaching the chamber guarded by enemies, you can make a right and find a torchbearer, then the screen will fade to ******, and battle will commence.

How to Prepare to ****** the Fell Twins?

The Fell Twins are not the fastest enemies to face Elden Ring players.

It is worth noting that despite being a paired boss ******, players will ****** each twin one at a time, making it less stressful than fighting two massive blobs simultaneously. The Tarnished should be at least at level 70 or above before stepping into the dark vacuum of space and have the right weapons in their loadout.

Tip

The Fell Twins are slow, but both pack a mean punch. Elden Ring players can ****** from a safe distance using magic or ranged attacks.

The first twin is armed with a massive cleaver that takes a while to wind up giving the Tarnished the advantage to strike first. Players should be cautious of their footing because the first twin can dodge a few incoming ranged attacks and will charge toward them. Fortunately, each swing is slow and easy to evade, while the second twin has a handful of ranged attacks.

Suggested Loadout

  • Rotten Breath
  • Swift Glintstone Shard
  • Flask of Cerulean Tears
  • Poison Mist
  • Flamedrake Talisman
  • Terra Magica
  • Comet Azur

The ranged or magic method is the best way to defeat the Fell Twins in Elden Ring.

Rather than fighting the boss twins together, each has their turn to take on the player. Elden Ring players should not underestimate these twins, especially in a pitch-****** arena. The best approach is to ****** the Fell Twins traditionally with strong melee weapons, from a safe distance, or cheese their way to victory.

Optional Yes
Best Level to Be 70+
Weak to Slash, Bleed Effect, Poison, and Scarlet Rot
Difficulty 4/10
Both twins are slow and have different ******* patterns that can be easily dodged.
How to Cheese Fell Twins? The Tarnished can expose both twins to lethal doses of Rotten Breath to inflict Scarlet Rot.
Rewards Omenkiller Rollo and 29000 Runes
Worth the Trouble? Yes

Players can immediately start ********* from a safe distance with the Swift Glintstone Shard and move away whenever the first twin is getting close. With enough Flask of Cerulean Tears to replenish the meter of using magic attacks, the first twin will be defeated, followed by the second, which is armed with a long sword and has a few ranged attacks.

There is a method to cheese this boss, and it heavily involves exposing them to Rotten Breath. Before the ****** starts, players can summon a Spirit Ash with a strong defense to distract the bosses, giving the Tarnished enough time to use Rotten Breath and inflict Scarlet Rot. Even without Rotten Breath, the twins will be distracted, giving players time to ***** projectiles from behind.

This strategy worked well against other large bosses like the **** Pumpkin Head. After a few perfectly timed hits and dodges from cleaver and sword attacks, the Fell Twins will be defeated in no time.

Players will be rewarded with 29000 Runes and the Omekiller Rollo summon. The Fell Twins are not the hardest optional bosses, but this ****** can be entertaining and be used for practice for more challenging opponents down the line.
