For the more than a third of Wisconsin residents who do not drive a car, there are still multiple ways to get to the polls for the upcoming

. Nonprofit organizations and even Uber and Lyft are offering free and discounted transportation to polling places across Milwaukee and Wisconsin.

Here are some options if you need a ride to the polls on election day.

Milwaukee County Department of Aging

will provide seniors that live in Milwaukee County with a free ride to polling places on Election Day, and to Wisconsin DMV locations for obtaining photo ID. Rides must be reserved 7 to 14 days in advance. Hours of the voter transportation service are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

, an organization dedicated to increasing voter turnout, is providing free rides to the polls during early voting and on Election Day.

The rideshare company is offering a 50% discount (up to $10) on Election Day rides to the polls. Preload the code, VOTE24, on or before Nov. 5, and it will be valid from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. in every time zone and can be used on rideshare, bikeshare or scooter rides.
