Not to worry, our extensive guide will break down all the steps you need to complete to achieve this ending. There are six Elden Ring endings, but you only need to see three endings as part of Platinuming the game. Some of the endings that see you become the Elden Lord will each count toward the ‘Elden Lord‘ trophy, so you only need one of that type. One of them is Elden Ring‘s Age of Fracture ending, and coincidentally the easiest of them all to obtain. How to Get the Age of Fracture Ending in Elden Ring data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==The most default of endings you could get in Elden Ring. To obtain the Age of Fracture ending, your path is simple: beat the final boss, interact with Marika’s fractured state, and choose ‘Mend the Elden Ring.’ This is the default option that you get from going through the game as is. The other endings require you to complete a long sidequest relating to certain NPCs—even the ones that will count toward the ‘Elden Lord‘ achievement. These are ‘Age of the Duskborn,’ ‘Age of Order,’ and ‘Blessing of Despair.’ With the Age of Fracture, however, you just need to complete the game from start to finish, following the ‘main quest‘ path. Tip It is extremely important that you do not carry the Flame of Frenzy when touching Marika, or you will trigger the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending. This means defeating any two out of the seven Shardbearers and obtaining their Great Runes, proceeding to Leyndell, burning the Erdtree at Mountaintop of the Giants, returning to Leyndell, and then beating the final boss. Of course, that’s the bare minimum you can do, and there are a ton of bosses in between to ******. If you’re trying to speedrun this ending, the easiest Shardbearers you can ***** are Godrick at Stormveil Castle and Rennala at Raya Lucaria Academy. Then get to Leyndell through the Altus Plateau. After fighting your way through the Draconic Tree Sentinel, get to the entrance of the Erdtree and defeat Morgott. Then make your through the Mountaintop of the Giants to the ***** Giant boss. ******** it transports you to Crumbling Farum Azula. At the end of this area is the essential Maliketh boss ******. You can then challenge Godfrey/Hoarah Loux in the same area you fought Morgott. All that’s left for you now is to beat the final boss(es) and follow the instructions from above. What Does the Age of Fracture Ending Imply? data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==While the default ending, it seems to be a curse upon the people of the land more than anything. The Elden Ring Age of Fracture ending is the vanilla, default ending of the game. It pretty much means that you’re continuing Marika’s Golden Order over the Lands Between with no changes at all. With the other endings, we can observe some kind of change happening to the Lands Between, either big or small, depending on our actions throughout the game and the way we choose to repair the Elden Ring. As the word ‘Fracture’ implies, we’ve not really repaired anything: We simply put back the broken pieces of the Elden Ring together, like putting a tiny bandaid over something that’s been broken a million times over. Given the fragility of the repaired Elden Ring and the flawed nature of Marika’s Order, it’s easy to see how our character’s rule could be as unstable as hers. There seems to be a possibility that The Lands Between will go through another history-changing event like The Shattering and its subsequent wars again.
