Subscribe Now Investigators later reviewed vehicle EDR data, which revealed that McMorris’ vehicle was traveling more than 100 miles per hour on a roadway with a speed limit of 45 miles per hour. The investigation also determined that McMorris was driving without insurance and previously had another “no insurance” case pending in St. Louis County. McMorris was booked into jail in St. Louis County on a $50,000 cash-only bond. In a follow-up interview with police, McMorris reportedly claimed she was not traveling above the speed limit, according to the probable cause statement.
