Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 has found itself in a situation all too familiar to gamers. Focus Home Interactive’s recent Q&A session hinted at ******* nerfs, and fans haven’t taken this well. With many already drawing parallels to Helldivers 2‘s disastrous ******* nerfs, Space Marine 2 players are holding their breath for the next patch. This has been one of the most successful games of the year. It’d be a shame for this to be its downfall.

Focus Home Interactive also hinted at potential buffs, specifically for the underperforming ******** Class and Bolt Rifle. Despite this though, players have taken to Steam to express their problems with the direction the game was heading. The game was review bombed on Steam shortly after the nerfs.

It’s still doing great, even breaking 4.5 million players recently, but the influx of negative reviews is a clear sign of what players want.

The developers have promised that these changes aren’t final and that they’ll continue to monitor feedback. However, for many players, the damage may already be done. But the question ********: Will Focus Home Interactive listen to its community, or will Space Marine 2 follow in the footsteps of other titles?
