This announcement also comes months after Alien: Romulus brought Xenomorphs, facehuggers, and corporate androids back to the big screen to significant financial and critical success. These Alien projects are very similar in both their strengths and weaknesses, as they both bring the franchise back to its absolute basics and must now figure out what to do next.
