remakes have been a popular topic thanks to the massive undertaking that the FF7 remake trilogy has been, and how much it changed the original game. For a long time, there was no shortage of requests for the FF7 remake we're finally getting. Now, players have their eyes set on what the next remake might be, and one of the most requested options is Final Fantasy 9. While I have nothing against FF9, it isn't the game that I believe should be next in line for a remake.
