Ronnie Michel-Elhaj has spent the past few weeks running away from the media, but in 2008 he was riding high on a wave of awards and accolades, reported to have a net worth of $68 million.

Appearing flush with success, the building company he founded announced its own COVID stimulus package in April 2020, days before the State Government put up a $125 million Building Bonus package to sustain the construction industry through the pandemic and keep tradies in work.
