Red Bull star Broc Feeney has set the pace in the red flag-riddled third practice session for the Bathurst 1000, while both Matt Stone Racing entrants have crashed out.

After Jamie Whincup wound back the clock to go fastest of all the co-drivers on Thursday, Feeney overcame three red flags to finish ahead of Tickford pair Thomas Randle and Tyler Everingham on Friday morning at Mount Panorama.
