Ord River expansion: WA Government to almost double farming land by 2034

The Cook Government aims to almost double farming land in the Ord Irrigation area in the next 10 years with cotton being the major crop.

The ambitious plan to unlock the agricultural economic potential of the East Kimberley has been revealed in the State Government’s Ord River Irrigation Area Strategy released this week.
