Premier Roger Cook stands by 10-year terms for Ombudsman in wake of CCC report into Chris Field

Premier Roger Cook has stood by the decade-long term given to independent public servants in the wake of the *********** and ****** Commission’s report into former WA Ombudsman Chris Field.

Mr Field, who resigned on Tuesday after the CCC’s report was released, had been the State’s independent watchdog for 17 years — overseen by four premiers.
