While the six Pixel Remaster games can be purchased digitally on the Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Store (and PC/mobile) individually or as a bundle, the physical edition had been hard to come by for a reasonable price until now.

If you haven’t played any of the Pixel Remasters, they offer fairly substantial updates to the first six mainline Final Fantasy games for NES and SNES. The original 2D sprites were enhanced to look sharper, the various game soundtracks were rearranged under the guiding hand of series composer Nobuo Uematsu, and there are numerous quality-of-life updates. The games also came with a few extra features, a bestiary, an illustration gallery, and a music player to enjoy the soundtracks on their own.
