The ******** embassy in Pakistan said workers were ******* in a targeted ******* on a convoy carrying ******** staff of the Port Qasim Electric Power Company (Private) Limited at around 11pm.

It said the total ****** toll was higher as there was also an unspecified number of Pakistani casualties.

The ******** embassy condemned the blast as a “********** *******” and called for a thorough investigation to punish the perpetrators.

“The ******** Embassy and Consulates General in Pakistan strongly condemn this ********** ******* (and) express deep condolences to the innocent victims of both countries,” the statement said.

A huge contingent of police and army was rushed to the scene after the blast was heard near the Karachi international airport.
