Bethesda has done just that, and players have been toying with the new armaments to find something that can fit their current character. ******* choice is a major aspect of RPGs, as they have a direct impact on how you approach combat with your preferred build. Given that the Starfield DLC largely takes place on Va’ruun’kai, the weapons also reflect the sensibilities of the planet and can make a great addition to your arsenal. Starfield Shattered Space Weapons Will Make Short Work of New Enemies data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==Arms in Shattered Space will give you an advantage against the new ****** types. Bethesda titles have always been filled with a variety of weapons to suit almost every playstyle. So whether you like to be a no-nonsense rifleman, a long-range *******, or a berserker with a melee *******, you’ll find exactly what you need in the game. Starfield is no different, as even with all of humanity’s technological advancement, the player has the option to use a club or even their fists to deal with threats. Tip Make sure you’re adding mods to your weapons to unlock their true potential and deal the most damage! Shattered Space continues this tradition, as players have access to eight new weapons, including a fancy sword! All of these weapons can be used in the expansion areas as well as the base game and can also be modded as the player sees fit. You’ll be able to start collecting these weapons the moment you start the Shattered Space DLC, but finding them can be a bit of a challenge. If you’re looking to grow your collection of arms, we’ve got you covered with this Starfield walkthrough on how to acquire all of the new weapons in the DLC. As players are still working their way through the many mysteries in the new world, new weapons may pop up in the future, but these are the ones we know can be found currently. Va’ruun Quickstrike (Energy *******) data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==The Quickstrike will be a handy sidearm to keep on your character. Laser pistols are a great backup for when your primary **** runs out of ammo, and the Va’ruun Quickstrike will keep you safe even with numerous threats around. As the name implies, this **** has a high ***** rate, a sizable magazine, and fair damage for its category. Its low weight means you can have it in your inventory without worrying about overburdening yourself, and weapons mods will help to give that damage a bump. You can find this ******* by taking down the many Vortex Phantoms or by finding it in chests or on ******* racks in the game. Energy Damage: 50 ***** Rate: 50 Range: 30 Accuracy: 69.30% Magazine: 20 Weight: 1.80 Mod Slots: 6 Ammo Type: 1.5KV LZR Cartridge Va’ruun Schimaz (Melee – Sword) data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==No technological advancement will ever replace the pure joy of slicing and dicing. A world like Va’ruun’kai would be incomplete without a wicked blade, and the Va’Ruun Schimaz delivers on the appearance front. It fits right into the world of Shattered Space and can help you clear out many of the enemies in the expansion. The only issue with this ******* would be that you need to get up close to your foe. In a world where practically everyone is armed with some sort of ****, this can be a challenge. But, if you want to run a pure melee build, you can pick up this sword by taking down Vortex Phantoms or finding it in chests and on ******* racks across the map. Physical Damage: 85 Weight: 2.0 Va’ruun Starlash (Energy Rifle) data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==It shoots slow, but hits hard, and can be deadly in the hands of the right shooter. You might look at the ***** rate and think this is a poor excuse for a rifle, but the damage does make up for it quite a bit. This is a great addition to your kit if you’re the kind who enjoys long-range, high-damage weapons. With the right scope, this could also turn into a useful ******* rifle, but will require you to make each shot count, as it won’t be super useful when there are multiple guns aimed at you. You can find this ******* by looting Vortex Phantoms or as a pickup from a chest or a weapons rack in Shattered Space. Energy Damage: 168 ***** Rate: 20 Range: 50 Accuracy: 70.70% Magazine: 12 Weight: 4.00 Mod Slots: 6 Ammo Type: 3KV LZR Cartridge Va’ruun Longfang (Energy Rifle) data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==You can loot this useful rifle from most enemies in the game. This energy rifle has a much better ***** rate than the Starslash, but less than half the damage on each shot. The advantage is that it operates on a burst-***** model, so you can get off three shots quickly and with much better accuracy. This ******* too can be found from downed Vortex Phantoms and in chests and on ******* racks. Energy Damage: 52 ***** Rate: 75 Range: 50 Accuracy: 70.20% Magazine: 30 Weight: 5.20 Mod Slots: 7 Ammo Type: 3KV LZR Cartridge Va’ruun Penumbra (Heavy) data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==If you were looking for an ****** to melt bosses, this is the one to choose. This **** can let loose a massive ball of energy that does immense damage on impact. But, as with all high-damage guns, the ***** rate is very low, even lower than the Starslash. It’s also a hefty *******, so it will take up a decent chunk of your inventory weight. The *******’s shots also take time to get off, making it a very situational *******. This too can be found on Vortex Phantom ******** or in a chest or a weapons rack in Shattered Space. Energy Damage: 150 Physical Damage: 50 ***** Rate: 12 Range: 40 Accuracy: 68.60% Magazine: 8 Weight: 10 Mod Slots: 6 Ammo Type: 20mm Particle Rocket Va’ruun Starstorm (Heavy) data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==Rain lasers and ****** upon your enemies with this minigun. Who doesn’t enjoy a minigun with which to rain a barrage of projectiles against their enemies? While you can become a standing turret with this *******, it does take a while to get going, leaving you vulnerable to damage. The magazine size could have also done with a boost, but this can easily be done with a few mods. Pick it up from the bodies of Vortex Phantoms, or in a chest or a weapons rack on Va’ruun’kai. Energy Damage: 14 Physical Damage: 4 ***** Rate: 120 Range: 40 Accuracy: 53.5% Magazine: 80 Weight: 11.40 Mod Slots: 6 Ammo Type: Heavy Particle Fuse The Fang’s Rifle (Energy Rifle) data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==Getting this rifle requires completing a set of collectibles. This is a unique laser rifle that is acquired after completing the Legacy of the Fang side quest in Shattered Space. After you have found all of the heirlooms, you will have to convince Farud Hajtal, Maaliya’s father, to repair the Broken Fang heirloom and present it to his daughter. You will then have a random encounter with Maaliya, which is when you can get the rifle. This **** can only be picked up from her after she has been rendered incapacitated by an EM *******, or after you ***** her. It cannot be pickpocketed, so don’t even try. The **** has a special effect of increasing your damage when your health decreases and is a good all-rounder rifle. Energy Damage: 54 ***** Rate: 93.8 Range: 50 Accuracy: 70.3% Magazine: 30 Weight: 5.2 Mod Slots: 7 Ammo Type: 3KV LZR Speaker’s Judgment (Laser Rifle) data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==One of the most powerful weapons in Shattered Space can be acquired only after beating the DLC. This high-damage output Laser Rifle can only be accessed after you complete the entire Shattered Space DLC. Once you have completed the story, loot the Science Crate in the Scaled Citadel to get this unique *******. With the right mods, this **** can become an absolute ******, as it already comes with high damage. While the ***** rate is low, adding a scope to the ******* will make it a very capable ******* rifle that can pick off enemies at a distance without letting them get close enough to deal damage to you. Grenades (Throwables) data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==Play around with the new throwables to see what fits your requirements. Along with a bunch of new guns, Starfield Shattered Space has also introduced several new throwables for players to use when backed into a corner. These grenades can be crafted by looting resources found in the expansion, and each has a unique effect on the ******. Vortex Grenade – BindingResourced Required: 1x Dark Vortex Cyst, 1x Vortex ShardEffect: Freezes enemies caught by the blast Vortex Grenade – ChargedResources Required: 1x Glowing Vortex Cyst, 1x Vortex ShardEffect: Deals damage to enemies in the AoE zone Vortex Grenade – LureResources Required: 1x Dark Vortex Cyst, 1x Vortex Cyst, 1x Vortex ShardEffect: Summons a Vortex Horror to ****** on your side Vortex Grenade – PhasingResources Required: 1x Glowing Vortex Cyst, 1x Vortex Cyst, 1x Vortex ShardEffect: Phases enemies out of the battlefield Vortex Grenade – UnstableResources Required: 1x Vortex Cyst, 1x Vortex ShardEffect: Unpredictable and randomized effect from any of the previous grenades Those are all the offensive weapons you have access to when you start adventuring in Shattered Space!
