I don’t understand how you can sell (and fit) something that is basically ********.

Standard mufflers (exhaust silencers) on motorbikes and cars have to comply with *********** Standards.

The terribly noisy “straight-through pipes” that are fitted, particularly to Harley-Davidsons, are not compliant.

I don’t understand why people throw rubbish out of car and truck windows.

Stop anywhere along Great Eastern Highway between Mundaring and Kalgoorlie (for example) and I guarantee you will find rubbish.

People must be doing it all day long.

I’ve never once thrown a piece of rubbish out of a car window.

I don’t understand why distracting advertising is allowed on roadsides.

The advertising hoardings on the freeway are one thing — but now the big lit panels on suburban roads have taken things to another level. The lit hoarding at the corner of Stirling Highway and Glyde Street in Mosman Park is a good example.

When road safety data clearly shows that distraction contributes to accidents, I don’t understand who thinks such panels are a good idea.

I don’t understand why cars are safer, roads are safer, and the road toll keeps going up.

I don’t understand why it’s still a little unusual buying ********* cars. White, ****** and silver still rule. Be bold, be seen, and brighten up the world.
