Sorensen hasn’t featured for the Panthers in more than a month after struggling with a hamstring injury. The New Zealand international was named in jersey No.19 this week. Panthers coach Ivan Cleary said on Saturday that after undergoing a late fitness test Sorensen would come into Penrith’s first-choice 17. “He is playing tomorrow,” Cleary said. “It’s awesome (because) Sorro’s been a big part of our team the last three years. “He’s a real soldier in our team. He’s like the old man out there as well, so a bit of experience.” Matt Eisenhuth has taken Sorensen’s place in Penrith’s squad during the time he has been sidelined, but Cleary would not confirm if that would be a like-for-like swap.
