Best Resources for New Streamers

Ready to become the world’s biggest streamer, but not sure where to start? The streaming and content creation world can be overwhelming with how many different softwares and assets are out there. So, let’s narrow it down to the best resources for new streamers.

What Resources You Need as a New Streamer

Streaming is meant to be a fun experience, and setting up your stream should be one of the best parts. To start, there are a few things you will need if you want to stream on

As long as you have the four things listed above, you should be good to start. Theoretically, you could stream without a camera or microphone, but that would make it hard to show off your wonderful personality.

Luckily, there are plenty of cheap microphones and webcams on

that you can purchase to help jumpstart your streaming career.

Best Streaming Resources for New Streamers

So, are you looking for the best streaming resources? How about free or relatively cheap streaming resources? I mean, when you are setting up your page, you are going to want to add some dazzle. Here is a list of common assets people use when streaming:

  • Banners
  • Notifications
  • Panels
  • Profile Picture
  • Emotes

All of these can be made by yourself if you know a bit about graphic design. If not, there are other options, too.

Fiverr

Fiverr is a popular website for outsourcing your streaming assets. Many resources, such as emotes, panels and more can be purchased by different graphic designers on the site.

And the best part, many will do your designs for cheap.

Streamlabs OBS

If you are using Streamlabs OBS, there is a paid version that gives you loads of resources to play around with. This subscription, however, is $19.99 USD a month, which may end up costing you more in the long run compared to just purchasing everything upfront.

DIY Streaming Resources

Doing it yourself is also an option, but that depends on how much time and experience with graphic design you have. Personally, I would rather spend the money on someone else creating my streaming resources than take the time trying to do it myself.

Everyone, however, has their reasons why they may not want to pay someone or may not want to do it themselves. The only thing that matters is whether you get them done or not.

Struggling to come up with some new resources for your stream? Try checking out some other streamers and see if you can get inspiration from them.
