With a background in videography, photography, lighting design and a mechanic by trade, emerging Port Hedland artist Amelia Blanco draws from her previous simultaneous careers in her creative process.

“I’m fairly new to all of this, I had my first exhibition in 2022, but I hadn’t done visual art because of my background in theatre tech, film and photography,” Blanco said.
