Fallout is one of the most successful live-action adaptations to hit screens in years. It dropped back in April to an overwhelmingly positive reception, scoring high reviews from both franchise fans and newcomers to the post-apocalyptic series. The first season was nothing short of sublime, setting up an entire universe with untold potential for future productions, and it just hit a massive milestone.

The team at Prime revealed recently that the Fallout TV show hit 100 million viewers worldwide, a staggering number. This makes Fallout one of the most-watched live-action adaptations ever made.

Everyone Liked That

I fell in love with the Fallout television series from the moment I tuned in. From the award-winning soundtrack to the detailed set pieces, and from the portrayal of the franchise’s factions to the easter eggs that only a true Fallout fan would recognise, the first season ticked every single box for me as a viewer.

Fallout was such a success as a show that it brought millions of people into the franchise’s fold for the first time – or for the first time in years. Player counts on every game skyrocketed, and Fallout 76 gained immense exposure and attention after six years on the market.

Shortly after the Fallout TV show dropped, Bethesda Game Studios deployed the next-gen update for Fallout 4, servicing the fans even more.
