, Slay the Spire 2 got a new trailer revealing that it will launch into early access in 2025.

The original Slay the Spire first launched in 2019 to rave reviews. In fact, the game still has Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on Steam, so there’s a lot of anticipation for the sequel.

Today’s trailer did not confirm an exact release date. It was also fully cinematic, so it didn’t reveal any actual gameplay, either. But it did give fans a general glimpse of the potential story. It also teased a major character return, with the simple ominous phrase “hello…again.”

Although some gamers have grown a little tired with the roguelike deckbuilder genre, Slay the Spire ******** a staple with lots of potential. It’s unfortunate that the devs couldn’t reveal more.
