) — A 22-year-old Portland State University student ***** on campus on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

Campus Police and a medical examiner responded to Parking Structure 1 along Broadway Street in southwest Portland at approximately 1:25 p.m. on Oct. 2. Authorities say they are investigating the student’s ****** as a ********. No foul play is suspected at this time.

“We’re deeply saddened by this news and acknowledge witnessing ****** can be a traumatic experience,” PSU stated in a campus email sent Thursday afternoon. “Our thoughts are with their family and friends at this difficult time. Out of respect for the student and their family, we ask that our community respects their privacy at this time, especially when sharing news on social media.”
