The ******** Air Force has attacked several weapons factories and infrastructure belonging to the Lebanese Hezbollah militia in a southern suburb of Beirut, according to the military.

The attacks were carried out with the help of intelligence information, according to a statement from the army. Steps were taken to minimize harm to civilians, it said.

There were initially no reports of casualties from the Monday evening attacks.

It comes after ******** ground troops advanced into southern Lebanon in a “limited, localized” operation against Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon overnight, according to the army.
