First Daiso store in Central Valley to open

) – The Central Valley’s first and only Daiso location will open in mid-October with a grand opening event.

Daiso is a store that includes *********-inspired home decor, stationary, food and more. The new store is in Visalia.

In May of this year, Daiso officials confirmed to YourCentralValley.com that the newest Daiso store location which is located at 4043 S. Mooney Blvd., in Visalia at the Packwood Creek Shopping Center would open at the end of summer. But now an official opening date has been announced.

Before this location was announced, the closest Daiso store to the Central Valley was in San Jose.

Daiso officials say the grand opening event will be on Saturday, Oct.19, and Sunday, Oct. 20.

According to Daiso officials, the first 100 customers who make a $30 purchase at the location each day will get an exclusive goodie bag.

Daiso officials say the doors open at 9 a.m. on Oct. 19 and 10 a.m. on Oct. 20.

The store hours will be Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
