Premier Roger Cook has told Niche Living boss Ronnie Michel-Elhaj to “read the room” after prioritising his wife’s construction project over that of his desperate customers.

Speaking after footage aired of Mr Michel-Elhaj’s violent clash with 7NEWS reporter Geof Parry, Mr Cook defended the senior journalist, saying Parry was simply asking questions.
