The previous Major Order in Helldivers 2 revealed that Super Earth is planning to build a Democracy Space Station and thanks to the community’s efforts, an ideal construction site has been secured on Gaellivare. As of now, Super Earth has made it clear that failing any DSS-related Major Orders will slow down its construction.

However, it seems like the community has a better idea. The space station is certainly a powerful strategic tool but Super Earth could also invest in a Heavy Spider Tank, something like the one players come across in Call of Duty; Advanced Warfare.

Helldivers 2 Community Suggests That The Game Needs A Spider Tank

A viral post on the r/Helldivers2 subreddit suggests that Helldivers 2 should have a Spider Tank. The player explained that the first Helldivers game had TD-110 “Bastion,” but with the evolution of Super Earth’s defense forces, it makes sense to add a Spider Tank in the game.

The player also suggested that this Spider Tank should have legs instead of treads. Call of Duty fans would recall that a tank like this was featured in 2014’s Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, which might be an underrated gem in the series. The tank that was featured in the game was called the T-600 Titan which had four vehicle treads that could double as legs in order to traverse rough terrain.

It is strange that Helldivers 2 still doesn’t have vehicles as the first game featured many unique vehicles. It has been on Arrowhead Game Studios’ to-do list for quite some time now as leaked files suggest that they have some plans lined up. Now is probably the best time to add new content as Helldivers 2 is becoming relevant again.

After witnessing a sharp decline in Helldivers 2‘s popularity, Arrowhead came up with a 60-day plan to fix Helldivers 2. So far, things are looking good as they have buffed up various fan-favorite Stratagems and weapons, however, the game still needs new content to keep the community happy.

For many months, players have been eagerly waiting for the Illuminate, the third rumored faction of the game. The community believes that the new Democracy Space Station has something to do with the Illuminate as Super Earth is setting up this strategic tool to make sure it is ready for the Illuminate invasion. At the moment, Helldivers are informed that Super Earth needs to make significant advancements in three key areas: Zero-G Materials Science, FTL Propulsion, and Gigastructure Staffing.
