are closed following a ****** near mile-marker 136.5 in downtown Louisville.

The ****** occurred on the Louisville side of the John F. Kennedy Memorial Bridge around 9:39 a.m., according to TRIMARC.

Southbound I-65 lanes are expected to be closed for a total of seven hours, according to TRIMARC. The ****** also prompted the closure of all lanes on the I-65 ramp to Interstate 64 East and Interstate 71 North, which were closed starting at 11:14 a.m. and are expected to stay closed for four hours.

Louisville Metro Emergency Services confirmed that emergency medical services transported one person to the hospital, but the extent of the injuries are unknown at this time.
