Triple premiership-winning Brisbane Lion Jason Akermanis is urging his team to start the grand final with the same attacking flair they have displayed when surging to amazing comeback wins, saying they clearly have the weapons to seize control early in the match.

Brisbane fought back from 25 points down during the second term against Geelong to win the preliminary final. That followed them overcoming a 44-point deficit in third quarter against Greater Western Sydney during the qualifying final to win by five points.
