Police charge 41-year-old man with child **** offences over alleged incidents at Perth CBD fast food outlet

Detectives have charged a man they say approached children at a fast food outlet and offered to buy them alcohol before inviting them to his home or holding their hands and kissing them against their wishes.

The 41-year-old is due to face Perth Magistrates Court on Friday over allegations he approached “various teenagers” at the fast food outlet in the Perth CBD between 4pm and 6pm on Wednesday.

It is alleged he offered to buy the children alcohol, invited them to his house and also made comments of a ******* nature.

“It is further alleged he kissed and held the hands of several children against their wishes and attempted to do the same with others,” police said.

The East Victoria Park man has been charged with two counts of indecently dealing with a child over 13 and under 16 and breaching protective bail conditions.
