City of Greater Geraldton approves speed limit changes in northern suburbs after community petition

Speed limits along a main road in Geraldton’s northern suburbs will become more consistent after the City of Greater Geraldton voted to approve recommended changes from Main Roads.

It comes after residents Joan and David Coutts petitioned for the speed limit along Chapman Road from Sail Boulevard in Sunset Beach to Glenfield Beach Drive in Glenfield to be reduced from 90km/h to 70km/h in April.
