The Last of Us Day, otherwise known as the day that the outbreak within the universe of the game series spread across the world and turned everything into ruin. And what better way to celebrate than with a brand new teaser for the second season of The Last of Us television series?

, the teaser showcases a time jump that sees Joel and Ellie grappling with the decisions the former made at the end of last season while still dealing with hostile human factions and massive amounts of infected. Several new characters will make their debut this season, including Ellie’s girlfriend Dina, Ellie and Dina’s friend Jesse, and Jeffrey Wright as militia leader Isaac (a role he originated in the video game). But the biggest newcomer is Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, whose quest for vengeance will change everyone’s lives.
